Crucial Unveils “Pro” Pocket Drives At Up To 20Gb/s
Crucial has announced the immediate availability of its Pro series pocket sized portable flash drives, which includes its high-end USB 3.2 Gen2x2 (20Gb/s) and mid-priced USB 3.2 Gen2 (10Gb/s) models. The one with “more value” will really depend on how much your time is worth to you and whether your system has a Gen2x2 connector available, since most front-panel ports have been single-link Gen2 until recently. With X10 Pro prices of $120/$170/$290 for the 1TB/2TB/4TB capacities, and X9 Pro prices at $80/$130/$240, the first is pricing its 2TB capacity for greatest sales volume.
